Not Professional Advice
Repair guides, maintenance tips, and buying advice published on this site are intended as general information, not a substitute for professional repair services or manufacturer guidance. Attempting a repair described on this site is done entirely at your own risk. Some repairs — particularly those involving batteries, internal components, or warranty-covered devices — carry genuine risk of injury or further damage if not performed correctly.
Warranty and Manufacturer Considerations
Performing a repair yourself, or through a non-manufacturer-authorized third party, may void your device’s existing warranty. Always check your device’s specific warranty terms before attempting any repair, and consider whether a manufacturer-authorized repair is the more appropriate option for your specific situation.
No Liability for Damages
iFixit.org.uk and its authors shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury of any kind arising from the use of, or reliance on, information provided on this site, including but not limited to damage to your device, personal injury, or data loss resulting from a repair attempt.
